UltraCeram Gravity Ceramic Water Filter Candle with Fluoride removal is imported from England and is an all in one filter that removes virtually all impurities including chlorine and fluoride and lasts up to 12 months. This filter removes far more impurities than standard cande filters! As this filter is only 5 inches long it will fit most brands of gravity flitration systems including Southern Cross Pottery, Durand, Waterco Urn, Australis, Stefani and Pozzani.

UltraCeram filter cartridges elements utilize class leading ceramic, micro-porous outer shell combined with a patented core technology – made from high quality NSF certified (ANSI 61) coconut shell based granular activated carbon and other adsorbent medias. The Ceramic media is impregnated with silver ions.

The UltraCeram combines mechanical filtration and physical adsorption processes to reduce a wide variety of drinking water contaminants of both aesthetic and health concerns. The pore structure of the ceramic enables sufficient contact time for the UltraCeram to be ideally suited to improving taste and odour as well as reducing chlorine, chloramine, volatile organic compounds, MTBE, lead, mercury, asbestos, arsenic and fluoride.

The cleanable outer shell is designed to remove suspended solids, pathogenic bacteria and cysts.

Three Stage Filtration

• Ceramic Filtration – The ceramic membrane provides genuine sub-micron filtration of fine particle matter, bacteria, cysts and tubidity.
• Silver Ions – The incorporation of silver locked within the ceramic structure gives enhanced bacteriostatic and self sterilising properties, inhibiting growth of bacteria.
• Granular Activated Carbon – An inner core of activated carbon and other absorbent materials remove chlorine, chloramine, heavy metals and fluoride.
